Santa is coming to town!!!

Hope you all are having a great summer.  I hope you also have found some time to craft.  I have been going like gang busters.  I have put together 5 kits that I purchased at the GASC this month, plus actually put some pictures and journaling on some of them.  I have also been making some gifts, which I will post later.

This is one gift that I made for my Dad for Father's Day.  He dressed up as Santa for one of Presley's friends b-day parties.  I just loved this picture of the two of them.  It was such a special day for all of us.  

  

I purchased this kit at Boxer Scrapbooks.  They have a t-shirt chipboard album that goes with it.  You can see the kit here.  The red shirt has a velvet feel to it.  Then I used my liquid applique to add some dimension to the cuffs.  I used a new white gel pen I also purchased at GASC to do some outlining and journaling.  I cut the HO HO HO on my cricut.  I hope you enjoy it!

3-D Thursday

 

This is a really cute hanging picture frame we made at 6 for 6.  We used coasters for the backing.  Then covered them with the Summer Picnic DSP and used the Tart & Tangy to accent it.  It was very fun and easy to make.  This coule be a great Mother's day gift.  Hope you enjoy!

Can you believe it a Thursday post!!  I know...

This is a little gift set Presley and I made for a little girl's birthday party.  Presley helped me stamp the tissue paper and I made the cards.  I used some more liquid applique to make the icing for the cupcakes.  The party was a baby doll picnic/cupcake theme.  We had such a great time.  Remember that your stamps aren't just for cards and scrapbooks.  They can be used for so many things.  In fact the birthday mom included a stamped thank card with the girls party favors!  There is just no limit to what they can be used for, so remember to think outside the box every now and then!  The cupcake was made with some sizzix diecuts in my cuttlebug, and of course I used some of that new chunky glitter.

It's Peeps time again.  Have seen the new green color this year!  It is beautiful!

Here is a fun little treat for your PEEPS lovin' friends.  Except I think the big one is for me, and the little one is to share!!

I used the cuttlebug for some design and texture on the background.  I also slightly glittered the bunny - so he looked like we was full of that wonderful PEEPS sugary goodness!!

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!  I hope you have had a chance to give your special someone's a hug today!!

Today's 3-D project is so stinking cute!!  I have been wanting to make one of these for over a year now!  I saw them on SCS last year, and buy the time I was able to go to Target, they were all out of the mailboxes.  This year, I bought the last 3 that were in the bin.  At least for that day.  I haven't seen anymore, but if I do, I will buy some more.  If you guys see some, I would love some more pink or white ones.  I have plenty of red!  Anyway, there are only 2 things that are SU! on this project - GASP!  The small tab stamp/punch out and the chipboard!  Everything else is from the dollar tree or the Target dollar spot.

3-D Thursday - Sour Cream container
