Well, my new tile is in, and the new wood floor comes tomorrow. So needless to say my house is a total disaster!! So today's card is a card I saw at Convention last year. I loved it and want to recreate it, so maybe I can do that this weekend!

So Presley went to my Mom's on Sunday, and have I had a chance to get any stamping done - NNNOOOO!! I am just now getting in here to stamp - Thursday afternoon, and my parents are bringing Presley back today along with my niece. My brother and SIL are also on their way up here! So anyway, I do have a holiday post, but it is not a Christmas card. It is the next best holiday - EASTER! This is also a total catty case. This is my third card to case from the catty so far. Isn't it great to have such an amazing inspiring idea book and catalog!!

It was good to make another Christmas card again. I just love combining the Baroque Motifs and the Holy Triptych together. It has such an elegant look to it.
The Holy stamp set is technically the only thing Christmasy about this card. I used Chocolate chip paper and ink. I stamped the triyptch in chocolate chip craft ink and embossed it with Iridescent Ice. I stamped the baroque image in versamark and embossed with clear ep. The paper is from last year's catalog - Brocade Background. 
HO HO HO - When Presley woke up this morning and saw the snow in our backyard she asked, "Is is Christmas today Mommy?". Well, the answer of course is NO - and she had forgotten all about the snow when she was playing outside this afternoon in the beautiful sunshine!! I love TEXAS - no where else can have all we have here!!

Well, I am trying to get back on track, even with today's train wreck of a card, and get my Wednesday post posted before 11:00 pm!
Let's just say today's card is the reason I case. Yes - this is mine - all mine! I can't blame anyone on SCS for this mess. I know what stamps I want to use, and sometimes what tools I want to play with, but then it is the actual composing of the card that I don't do well!
I did have fun playing with my WWC. And this is one of my all time favorite sets too.
Supplies: PAPER: Always artichoke, real red, very vanilla, close to cocoa, watercolor paper INKS: stazon, close to cocoa STAMPS: A merry little Christmas ACCESSORIES: WWC, spritzer, glitter, crystal effects, ribbon
I masked the stamp, and used the spritzer with creamy carmel, close to cocoa, and always artichoke. Then I used the aqua painter to blend the colors and give it a softer effect.
This is one of those cards that if it could talk would say something like - "Don't hate me because I am beautiful!" Because that is what this card is! It is another case from SCS, but I used some more of the shimmer stationary from Recollections. There is just no way for me to photograph all the shimmer on this card. I embossed everything in white. It is gorgeous!! I don't know what I would do without scs to case!! Hope you enjoy! Remember to leave me a comment for the drawing on Friday!
Sorry for the delay in the post. We have wireless internet, and like wireless TV, the weather does effect it. It has just been to slow today to post until now. But I have to say it was worth the wait. I think I outdid myself today. I bought some shimmer stationary paper from Recollections last week, with intentions of using them for holiday cards. Well today was the first, and I just may not send this one out! I love it so much. This stamp set was the first Christmas stamp set I bought and I just love it. I have 2 of the 3 matching wheels. It's one of my favs that will stay with me for a long time. Of course this card was inspired from one on SCS. The original card used a gold ornament charm on her card. Well, I didn't have any charms, so I made one with the faux metal technique. That was so much fun!

Happy Hump day! Sorry I had to do 2 posts today. I just ran out of time yesterday. I have 2 club meetings this week, plus a workshop on Saturday morning. Two of them are all scrapbooking, so I can plan on doubling the time it would take to do a card workshop!!
